"Consider for a moment the myriad of exact ingredients, infinitesimals, and incredible timing that somehow must have been necessary for the coming together from out nowhere the nothing that wasn't that in turn suddenly begat, then even quicker morphed into the now which is the now now, separated from the not now now that was not.
"I'm talking about the back in the old days before even cowboys. I'm talking Big Bang. In less than a picosecond, setting into motion the so-called Big Bang and the continuing downstream outflow stemming from the totality of that event, that is, it's present form known to us as the Universe --- and any results included thereof. Move, remove, replace, take out or bump any given aspect at anytime anywhere in the process and every not a thing and every thing-thing would not be the same."

"There is no 'being' found within oneself, only a heap of karmic constituents. Just as the word chariot is used when we come across a combination of parts, so we speak conventionally of a human being when the five aggregates are present."
The above is the simile of the "Chariot and the Body" as found in the Samyutta Nikaya. The Samyutta Nikaya is the third of the five collections of Sutras in the Pali canon --- most notedly in the section titled Vajira Sutra: Sister Vajira. It is typically considered the first of the chariot similes. According to tradition, the quote is Vajira the nun's response after being questioned by Mara the Tempter. Centuries later, in a dialogue known as the "Questions of King Milinda," the venerable monk Nagasena uses this same simile in greater detail, asking King Milinda a series of rhetorical questions:
"Is the axle the chariot?... Are the wheels the chariot?...Is the chariot-body the chariot?...Is the flagstaff...the yoke...the reins...Is the Goad-stick the chariot?"
The chariot as a whole, is constituted through a particular arrangement of parts, each of which in themselves are also a particular arrangement of parts. Nagasena explains that like the chariot, human beings are simply the sum of their parts. Any one part of a human being is not the being. The same is found true in respect of all things and all people --- their existence falls back on inter-dependence, not as permanent essences. Thus, all things are ultimately 'empty.'
"If you did not at this moment tie up or ever tie up all the aggregates or constituents that make you up, then those aggregates or constituents either might not have ever existed, or if they did, would be split up and used somewhere else, bumping everything from where it is to some other place to some other place to some other place because if you were not, that is, never existed, then everything and every part that ever proceeded leading up to you being you would not have unfolded the way it has or be where it is or was or be impacted by what you are or have done or will do. The mere fact you are tying up the aggregates or constituents you are tying up is why the universe is the way it is. See how important you are? If it wasn't for you nothing else would be the same. In other words:
THIS BEING PRESENT, THAT ARISES; WITHOUT THIS, THAT DOES NOT OCCUR
So said, in that multiplicity of factors complexly arranged we ourselves are in a sense, a universe in miniature, made up of or composed of star material --- from whence it came, how it was created, the before of the grounding source of creation. That which in the Universe that makes up the Universe is that which we are of too.
Of the all quoted paragraphs above the very first sentence in the quote at the very top doesn't matter much since the nothing before there was something was nothing. It could have gone on forever and who would have been any the wiser. It is in the second paragraph where things begin having meaning and affecting the downstream outflow and the myriad of infinitesimals.
A dropped ball as shown in the graphic below can strike a blade in such a way that it can fall to the left or to the right. In the end, what has been given the name "Initial Conditions," is what will determine whether the ball goes to the left or right. If the ball was initially held perfectly centered directly over the blade, a prediction of which direction the ball would bounce would be more difficult to make with any amount of certainty than say dropping it clearly to the left or right of the blade.

"Nothing that happens is without effect. If you throw a stone in a pond the universe isn’t quite the same as it was before. . . It may be that if I lead the life I’ve planned for myself it may affect others; the effect may be no greater than a ripple caused by a stone thrown in a pond, but one ripple causes another, and that one a third; it’s just possible that a few people will see that my way of life offers happiness and peace, and the they in turn will teach what they have learnt to others."
In the very beginning days of the early 1940's, secreted away late at night in the deep dark recesses of an uncharted damp corner basement of an ancient lost in the mist of time old dilapidated brick building rumored to be the secret lair of the Code-O-Graph design and development department, a self-loathing solitary old man hunched over his cluttered work table, a work table illuminated by a single dull continually flickering on-and-off 25 watt bulb and cluttered high with past failures. Between the flickers and failures the old man scratched out his idea for the second in line of Captain Midnight decoders, eventually to be known as the Photo-Matic. Being the second in the series and with the first being so successful he had no choice but to make the second one better. And better he did. However, as his stub of a pencil with the eraser long gone made dull, meek scratch marks, he had no idea it would be the last Code-O-Graph he would be designing that would be manufactured, given away as a promotion, or used for two or three more years. So too, unless done through the cause of an unknown higher power or done innately, little did the old man know his design replicated a miniature nearly infinite universe, or at least of the time held therein to infinity and beyond.
Too much you think, to apply to what is not much more than a stamped out piece of almost tin like metal? Perhaps. As no more than a stamped out piece of metal that in essence was nothing other than a free radio premium give away, intended --- as a toy --- to do no more than sell more of the promoter's product and, if on the side, it made a few loser kids or two happy, them being happy was no more than a non-necessary added luxury in the overall scheme of moving the product.
The solitary old man hunched over the drawing table struggling away late at night for his all but invisible overlords didn't know it, but he was a mere pawn or marionette as were they, in a true miracle of the universe that from the Big Bang to when I was conceived, to then grow to be just at the right time and place as well as the right age so that I was there and old enough to have the cognizant wherewithal, interest, and abilities to manipulate, use, and desire a Code-O-Graph of all my own. And so it was.

Take notice of the circular design, look, shape, and similarities between the Code-O-Graph and the precession of the equinox image. There just happens to be 26 one-thousand year increments on the precession image while the Code-O-Graph has 26 increments, one each for each of the 26 letters of the alphabet. You, having read this far, have no doubt grasped, figured out, become confused, or possibly totally discounted into perpetuity any level of an actual formal relationship established between the two. The thing is, it doesn't matter the initial intent of either or all from the Big Bang to now, what matters is the predominant and intertwined goings on of events as they unfolded in relation to both the precession of the equinox and the Code-O-Graphs that led me to, then find myself once a man, whisked half a world away from an ancient Himalayan monastery beyond the reach of time to that as a young boy in the center of a Mojave desert creosote ring said to be the world's oldest living thing.
The half a world away that found me in the middle of a huge ancient creosote ring located on the desert floor was some distance down and beyond the base of the mountains where Big Bear Lake resides in the cool pine forest. The creosote ring, albeit only a few air miles apart, lay in the burning California Mojave and thousands and thousands of miles away from the monastery, with me all alone sitting in the Buddhist Bhumi-sparsha Mudra fashion, the earth-touching gesture. Immediately I become aware that I was touching the ground because my index finger hit against something that felt like a small metal object similar in size of a quarter or fifty cent piece, laying parallel in the sand just below the surface. That something, which I scooped up into the palm my hand while allowing the sand that came with it to filter back between my fingers, turned out to be an almost lapel-like group identification pin, albeit for a hat or cap, given me as a young boy that I carried with me at the time everywhere, but long since lost. I must have had it with me on the day I was at the creosote ring for the first time years before.
Somehow the pin must have fallen into the sand and relative to those who knew of it, me for example, rendered itself missing. Almost the exact same second I pulled the pin out of it's long entrusted sand and soil tomb of the desert floor, as if it possessed the same intrinsic value as a sacred ancient Egyptian artifact, the following happened:
"No sooner had I grasped the pin and fully closed my fist around it inside the palm of my hand than I was suddenly overcome by an onslaught of involuntary electrical-like muscular contractions, undulating back-and-forth and in-and-out throughout my whole body. As fast as I was wracked with one spasm than another would hit me just as intense, overcoming the one previous. One instant, as the young boy that I was, I would be sitting in the hot desert sun inside the creosote ring when in the next, overlapping at almost the exact same moment in time, I would be sitting in a like position holding the pin in the same fashion, only as a full grown man in the high altitude cold night outside some ancient Himalayan monastery, knowing full well the thoughts and facts in the heads of each of us as if one. Although it seemed as though there were hundreds of back to back contractions one after the other, as suddenly as the totality of them started they ceased just as quickly, leaving me exhausted, wiped out, and collapsed face down on the the ring floor, sans the pin. The pin that had been missing all these years that was found and in my grasp, in a total disregard of the back and forth unstitching in the fabric of space-time followed by a reweaving or healing of the hole, was just as suddenly gone, the adult me in some future or past place apparently having it."
The Curandero and the Magic of the Mojave Desert Creosote Ring
Vega was the northern pole star around 12,000 BC and will be so again around the year 13,727. The creosote ring is dated as being over 11,700 years old, which for all practical purposes is 12,000 years, making it's very inception on earth beginning during the exact same period of time Vega was the north star. During my meditation periods on the monastery grounds outside and in front of the doors prior to any passing through into the monastery, the nighttime sky north star was Polaris, indicating a present day time frame reference. After passing through the monastery doors and exiting outside and around to the front, the nighttime north star was Vega, indicating a time frame reference around 12,000 BC, just at the end of the ice age ... OR in the future as stated above 13,727 AD, making for the creosote ring (and just as important) one full 26,000 year circumnavigation of the precession of the equinox.
The attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, which propelled the United States into World War II, caused the U.S. Government to impose restrictions on a variety of manufacturing materials. Copper and brass, considered critical materials, were part of those restrictions, so most if not all of those materials were diverted to the war effort, in turn precluding brass being used to manufacture novelties such as radio premiums.
The Photo-Matic version of the Code-O-Graphs, although not distributed until 1942 was made of brass, but they had all been manufactured prior to any of the governmental restrictions. In a Universe size coincidence of major proportions, unlike some of the later models that had year-dates stamped into them, Photo-Matics were undated, so instead of having the need of being replaced by a new one within a year the use of the Photo-Matic, was extended throughout the entire duration of the war, nearly three years, making it the Code-O-Graph with the longest service life, and all happening just at the time I came along to be impacted by them. So said, for most of my childhood growing-up Code-O-Graph life, as fate or karma would have it, I just needed to own, learn, and use only one single type --- something I became very, very adept at.
Like I say above, a true miracle of the universe --- that from the Big Bang to when I was conceived, to then grow to be just at the right time and place as well as the right age so that I was there and old enough to have the cognizant wherewithal, interest, and abilities to manipulate, use, and desire a Code-O-Graph of all my own.
