Curtiss-Wright Historical Association - Project Tomahawk, Inc. WAS a corporation registered in the state of California. The primary focus of the Corporation was to restore to operational condition a single, specific World War II aircraft, a goal that has since been accomplished. That aircraft, known as a P-40B Tomahawk, sometimes called a Warhawk carries the serial number 41-13297 and is authenticated to be a genuine Pearl Harbor survivor. Although at one time housed in the Fighter Collection of the Imperial War Museum, Duxford, England, having arrived there in 2008 in full operational flight condition after restoration almost exclusively under the auspices of the Curtiss-Wright Historical Association, as of December 2013, she was scheduled for return to the United States under the operational wing of The Collings Foundation, in Massachusetts.
With the completion of the project to complete flight worthy status all of Curtiss-Wright Historical Association - Project Tomahawk, Inc.'s powers, rights and privileges in the State of California have since been suspended. Inquiries have shown that phone numbers, addresses, and officers are no longer current or active relative to the Corporation.
